Rainies Foster Closet, Inc….

Why ‘Give 716’?

Rainie’s is a volunteer, donation-based,
non-profit organization providing aid to our
Foster/Kinship communities. Our mission is
to help clothe Foster/Kinship families while
following our belief all children should
experience love, respect, and kindness in
their homes as well as from their
community – “It Takes a Village…”!

Because of generous donors like you,
Rainie’s assisted nearly 200 children last
year! Statistics expected to double over the
next 2 years – >400 children per year!
Thanks to the generosity and support of so
many, Rainie’s Foster Closet moved into a
larger location in September, 2025. This
new home enables us to serve more
children with – 7 days’ clothing, diapers,
socks, underwear, & personal care items
per child, 4x/year. Footwear 4x/year; 2 big
items 1x a year per need/availability.

With this bigger impact comes a bigger
operational responsibility: RENT! Your ‘Give
716’ donation helps RAISE THE RENT yearover-year ensuring Rainie’s Closet remains
a safe, reliable resource for Foster/Kinship
children throughout WNY.

Why “Give 716”?

‘Give 716′ is a joint effort between the
Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres
Foundations in response to the urgent needs
our nonprofit community is facing as a whole.
Sponsors of this online event encourage
donations to Rainie’s Closet offering signed
Bills/Sabres Jerseys and Tickets, Buffalo
Bison and Bandits Tickets, Concert Tickets,

‘Give 716′ Day will take place starting July
15, at 7:16pm and culminate on July 16 at
11:59pm.
